Photo reportage of the expedition taken 100 years after the tragic events of Kobarid on the footsteps of Erwin Rommel, Austrian captain, responsible for the Italian defeat. For the Italians Caporetto (Kobarid in Italian) is still a synonym of failure, but for the first time, we get to see the battle form the point of view of the Austrians. 

The reportage accompanied the words of Paolo Rumiz and was published on the supplement Super8 by La Repubblica with the title “L'altra Caporetto” (the other Caporetto).
